Job Opportunity | Data Engineer (Azure) Sector: Automotive Tech Location: Porto Work Model: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) Language: Fluency in English (mandatory) | Portuguese (nice to have) Important: This role is open only to candidates currently based in Portugal. Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Azure) to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics and data‐driven decision‐making within an Automotive Tech environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines in AzureIntegrate data from internal and external sources, both structured and unstructuredEnsure performance, scalability, reliability, and availability of data solutionsCollaborate closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure data readinessImplement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring best practicesDocument data architecture, data flows, and technical decisions. RequirementsDegree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience as a Data Engineer in Azure cloud environmentsHands‐on experience with:Azure Data FactoryAzure Synapse AnalyticsAzure Data Lake Storage Gen2Azure SQL DatabaseAzure DatabricksAzure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)Strong SQL and Python skills (Spark/Scala is a plus)Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams Nice to HavePortuguese language proficiencyAzure certifications such as DP‐203 or AZ‐900 Interested?
