Job Description:We are recruiting 1 Application Production Support for Cash Equities Execution APSJoin our dynamic APS (Application Production Support) team at BNP PARIBAS Global Markets, a leading firm in the financial sector. As a Cash Equities Execution APS, you will become part of a global team supporting and delivering a world-class global execution platform. This role is crucial in maintaining our competitive edge by providing high-quality support and rapid solutions to our trading desks and external clients.In this role, you will gain invaluable experience with modern financial markets, stock exchanges organizations, and algorithmic high frequency trading technology. You will work on innovative, low-latency technology alongside top specialists in the field, developing skills related to system management and monitoring. This position offers a unique opportunity to deeply understand and influence the technologies that drive financial markets today.Main Tasks- Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance- Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues.- Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform.- Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements.- Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels.Technical Skills:- Core Unix/Linux skills- Knowledge of network technologies and protocols – specifically TCP and UDP- Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl for scripting, any other programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java)- Basic SQL knowledge- Application support experience (for more senior profiles)- SLog management: Splunk, ELK, Gray log, Loki- Network monitoring: Corvil- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/Maria DB, KDB/q- Messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka- Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.Language Skills:- EnglishSoft Skills:- Ability to manage priorities, incidents and problems.- Good communication skills and teamworking.- Knowledge sharing and Flexible and adaptable to new environments. Quickly learn new systems/products- Issue follow-up and problem-solving ability- Time management
