We have a global presence with offices in the greater Washington, D.C. area (USA), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Montreal (Canada), and Lisbon (Portugal) through our partner company Aeconos Lda.
We are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and entrepreneurial professional who wants to build a career in international consulting.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an early career economist, analyst, or business development professional to gain hands-on experience supporting and winning projects funded by organizations such as the European Union, the World Bank and other leading international institutions.
Successful candidates will quickly assume increasing levels of responsibility and have the opportunity to contribute to projects across multiple countries and sectors.
Prior experience is valuable, but equally important is the ability to learn quickly, think strategically, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the assessment and shaping of project opportunities, contributing to capture strategies and business growth decisions.
· Develop strong expertise in technical proposal writing, editing, and quality assurance for leading international donors and development finance institutions.
· Conduct market, client, and competitor research to strengthen strategic positioning and identify emerging opportunities.
· Engage with international experts, project managers, and partner organizations, building a global professional network.
· Support the identification, recruitment, and coordination of high-caliber technical specialists and project teams.
· Contribute to partnership development, teaming arrangements, and stakeholder engagement across multiple countries and sectors.
· Participate in client engagement, market intelligence, and business development activities, with increasing responsibility and exposure to senior decision-makers.
Qualifications
· Master's degree in economics, management, business administration, or a related field.
· Two to five years of relevant professional experience.
· Strong analytical, writing, editing, coordination, and communication skills.
· Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with customer relationship management tools and pipeline management systems.
· Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
· Fluency in Spanish, or French is an advantage.
