Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

About the role
EVOLEO Technologies is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to strengthen the Embedded Systems team and contribute to the architecture, development, and validation of embedded solutions in demanding technology projects.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with high technical autonomy, the ability to take on broad technical responsibilities, and the drive to contribute to the evolution of the team's methods and solutions.
What you will doDefine and develop embedded systems architectures and technical solutionsDevelop, review, and debug embedded software and firmwareSupport hardware-software integration and system bring-upDefine interfaces, communication protocols, and integration approachesPlan and execute verification, validation, and debugging activitiesReview technical requirements and contribute to system-level decisionsPrepare and review technical documentationProvide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineersCollaborate with electronics, FPGA, systems engineering, and AIT teamsContribute to engineering methods, standards, and continuous improvementWhat we are looking forBSc or MSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldSolid professional experience in embedded systems developmentStrong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software developmentExperience with microcontrollers, processors, and hardware interfacesExperience with communication protocols and embedded debugging toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and take technical ownershipGood proficiency in technical EnglishGood communication skills and teamwork mindsetWhat we valuePrevious experience in technical leadership or mentoringExperience with RTOS or embedded LinuxKnowledge of FPGA integration and digital interfacesExperience in the aerospace, defence, automotive, or other high-reliability sectorsKnowledge of software development processes, version control, and CI/CDExperience in verification, qualification, or certification-driven developmentWhat
