PTC Group is looking for a talented API Developer (Python) to join our team in Porto, on a hybrid model. In this role, you will create high-quality APIs that our UI team will utilize to bring their creative visions to life on our Design Studio platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and a commitment to seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the back-end web applications and REST APIs, leveraging your existing web development experience.
- Write efficient, readable, and maintainable Python code, embracing challenging tasks that extend beyond conventional Python API development.
- Utilize linters and other code quality tools to maintain high standards of code organization and cleanliness.
Experience:
- Experience of +3 years of API development with Python, including familiarity with Python web frameworks, particularly FastAPI, pydantic.
- Experience in asynchronous Python.
- Competence in using pytest and linters to ensure code quality.
- Knowledge of ORM on python and databases, MongoDB preferred.
- Ability to write highly legible code, using design patterns and generally accepted best practices.
- Good understanding of web application backend development.
