ENTER THE GAME
As the Country Manager for Portugal at the Betclic Group, you will assume leadership over our well-established presence in the Portuguese market, leveraging eight years of experience in a regulated environment. Your role stands as a cornerstone as the market continues its expansion, entrusting you with the continuous refinement and optimization of our local service and product offerings to maintain our market leadership. From honing existing strategies to pioneering new avenues, you will orchestrate our footprint across product development and marketing initiatives, ensuring our brand maintains its relevance and continue to resonance with Portuguese consumers. This position needs a seasoned leader adept at navigating the intricacies of a mature market, while simultaneously fostering innovation and driving growth to propel the Betclic Group to unprecedented heights within Portugal.
YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC
In this context, your duties are:
Spearhead the formulation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to Betclic Portugal's operations, overseeing all marketing endeavours. Lead and develop the local marketing team, fostering their growth and proficiency, assuming full operational and profit and loss (P&L) accountability. Collaborate closely with the Head of Area to conceptualize marketing strategies and effectively manage the significant marketing budget for Betclic Portugal. Take a proactive stance in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, with a strategic emphasis on the Portuguese market, to drive company expansion and advancement. Ensure seamless alignment between customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation initiatives, meticulously aligning them with overarching company objectives. Set forth clear objectives and budgets for revenue generation, diligently overseeing their implementation and attainment. Optimize the ROI across all marketing channels, prioritizing brand elevation and customer acquisition efficiency. Identify underperforming acquisition and retention operations within the region, devising and implementing targeted strategies to rectify shortcomings effectively. Cultivate and sustain robust business relationships with local agencies, media partners, sectorial associations and regulatory bodies, fortifying Betclic Portugal's market presence and compliance adherence.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
