For our location in Trofa we are currently looking for a

Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduction initial part sampling & approval along with milestones and timing (e.g., FOT, IR, ISIR, PPAP-PPA) for complex-customized components & system suppliers. Definition of sampling scopes & levels, and time schedule with supplier. Conducting supplier claims, using the 8d method incl. system care (e.g., SAP, CAQ, TestTrack), coordination, monitoring & reporting of action plans and tracking time schedules, escalation. Conducting supplier assessments for on-boarding reasons as potential analysis POT, process- & product audits in accordance with customer requirements and VDA. Evaluation of supplier quality & process capability for supplier risk management, follow-up of the result-related action plans (internal / external), carrying out reporting, escalation in the event of non-compliance. Participation on quote comparison and risk evaluation for supplier nomination preparation. Supporting pre-series team in supplier quality related tasks & early plant involvement programs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Professional studies in the field of mechatronics/electronics Engineering or similar; At least 5 years of experience on similar position, preferably in supplier quality management; Experience in multinational group environment; Confident in using automotive coore tools (e.g. MAS, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, 8D); Confident in automotive norms e.g. IATF 16949, ISSO 9001: 2008, AEC-Q; Preferably with auditor training & qualification (e.g.: VDA, IATF); Fluent written and spoken English skills, German would be beneficial; Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; Striving for continuous improvement and optimization.
