Duties and Role:
The incumbent will perform duties based in Oeiras, Portugal and will be contributing to the NCI Academy Training Management System UI/UX design such as the following:
Creating user-centered designs by understanding requirements and user behaviour; Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyse and predict user behaviour; Creating style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces; Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for the Training Management System; Creating original graphic designs ( images, sketches and tables); Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages; Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems ( responsiveness); Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience.Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance Be a graduate or near-graduate level in an IT-related subject; Possess the ability to understand/influence; requirements to positively impact the user experience Have knowledge of UI/UX design for digital products or services; Have familiarity with UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms; Be familiar with the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite; Be a team player, but also be able to work independently.-
