JOB DETAILS:

  • Position: COBOL Developer (Mid-Level)
  • Location: Lisbon (Hybrid work model)
  • Work Model: Hybrid

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

As a COBOL Developer at Top Sigma, you will:

  • Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions in banking projects, such as payments, cards, credit, and customer accounts.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of systems within the financial industry.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing COBOL applications as needed.
  • Participate in hybrid working arrangements, with occasional work from our Lisbon office.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience working with COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
  • Fluent in Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level).
  • Previous experience working on banking projects (payments, cards, credit, customers, accounts) is a plus.
