Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist analyses and monitors the ageing of customer receivables and manages factoring and reverse factoring.

Key tasks & Activities

Accounts Receivable

Verifies with customers if issued invoices where received and are approved for paymentContacts customers in case of overdue invoicesInteracts with other departments, concerning possible discrepancies in price or/and quantityElaborates customers ageing reportsElaborates the comments related to receivables in the working capital report

Factoring and Reverse Factoring

Prepares the files to be send to the factoring companyPosts the amounts received from/or paid to the factoring or reverse factoring companyCalculates the interests and commissions charged by the factoring and reverse factoring companyPerforms month end tasks, such as accruals and deferrals related to factoring and reverse factoringValidates the position in SAP against bank statementsAssures that the amounts received from factoring and reverse factoring are posted with the same due date as the correspondant invoices

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

Degree in Accounting, Management or Economics (preferable but not mandatory)- years of experience in equivalent function (preferable but not mandatory)

Technical Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelEnglish language proficiency (mandatory)Previous experience using SAP

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent analytical skillsAptitude for process improvementAttention to detail, getting to root cause of problems
