Mission of the Role: Customer focus
Engage in quotations to ensure manufacturing customer specific requirements are captured and aligned during the business pursue opportunities.

Key Objectives of this Role: Customer focus
Engage in quotations to ensure manufacturing customer specific requirements are captured and aligned during the business pursue opportunities.
• Knowledgeable about all PPAP/APQP customer specific requirements and ensure proper alignment with the customer on correct deliverables definition during different product maturity stages since launch to end of production.
• Supports all forward model launch activities by attending APQP team meetings
• Evaluate Process Validation tests and the effectiveness of the test process to identify issues. Ensure effective test handling for Product Verification tests and results
• Communication with the customer on regular base to ensure customer satisfaction and final product are according to customer requirements
• Collection of PPAP full documentation package according to Visteon and Customer standard
• Manage on time PPAP package submission to customer (on portals, by mail) acc. to related required PPAP level submission.
• Manage closure of Non-Compliances from Plant Customer Audits / Forward Model Quality Reviews (ensure cascade within and across the Customer Groups) during launch phase;
• Facilitation of Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) sessions to ensure lessons learned and best practices are driven into the PFMEA with focus to risk mitigation / improvements.
• Coordination of Safe Launch Activities to ensure flawless launch
• Confirmation of alignment between customer requirements and supplier requirements during launch phases (e.g.: pass through characteristics, cosmetic requirements, others)
• Ensure with Visteon internal teams (program, laboratory, customer team) the existence of resources to support different customer plants ahead of the launch phase
Problem solving lead for all manufacturing issues
• Organize with responsible persons (Process engineers, Production Manager, etc.) problem solving meeting, to provide guidance, discipline and information to identify the root cause and relevant actions to protect and prevent on issues found until the start of production

Internal quality
• Ensures adherence to Visteon processes VBOS, VPDS and Vistway
• Initiate to stop the production lines, processes or stop shipment in the plant if they are not compliant or with possible risk for customer impact
• Update control plan and PFMEA based on CSR and product requirements make sure actualization includes lessons learned during the launch.
• Maintain proper production control in relation of product quality and customer requirements for related products
• Leads annual layout and/or annual requalification as per customer specific requirements
• Support the deviation authorization process in relation of internal process/product quality
• Ensure proper reporting of failure modes and process/production lines issue in relation of product quality
• Ensures correct implementation of the control plan in the manufacturing processes
• Responsible to verify linkage between the DFMEA, PFMEA, Process Flow chart, Control Plan and Work Instructions through the correct management of the SCIF process established in VBOS
• Confirms the content quality of all the PPAP deliverables ahead of the package submission to the customer
• Supports Reverse PFMEA activities
• Leads the definition of the product audit concept during the launch stage
• Support other plant quality activities as required (Layered Process audits, Internal Quality Management Systems Audits)
• Ensures cosmetic requirements are clearly communicated to the manufacturing teams
Change Management
Support the robust change Management to secure and avoid the risk
• Evaluates any changes to the manufacturing line and product and ensures proper notification to the customer when applicable
• Ensure that the potential risks due to the change, have been identified, understood and relevant test done before. If relevant, suggest additional control during the change implementation for a period or a quantity of product.
• Verify that all validations steps (PDTL approval, PPAP component approval, validation tests, datasheets) were performed and available for all alternative material usage requests
