Head of Product – New Propositions

Role overview

This exciting role will look after Flutter UKI’s efforts to extend our product offering into new audiences and propositions. You will operate across our innovation pipeline:

1. Proposition development:  Designing and testing propositions for new audiences or adjacent to our current product offering.

2. MVP creation:  Working with internal and external teams to build Minimum Viable Products to test and iterate with customers.

3. New business scaling:  Iterating and scaling new products to reach product-market fit. Act as day-to-day commercial owner (with Chief Commercial Officer oversight) for new ventures as they scale.

In this role, you will lead and be part of cross-functional teams spanning product, technology, marketing, trading, business insight and central support teams.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Proposition development

Accountable for designing engaging propositions that are well received by target customers.

Responsible for undertaking customer research and working with cross-functional teams to refine proposition designs and ensure feasibility.

MVP creation

Accountable for delivering Minimum Viable Products that can be tested with customers.

Responsible for product scoping and working with internal and external teams to design and deliver new propositions.

Responsible for undertaking ongoing customer research and analysing behaviour to make data-backed decisions to maximise propositions’ success.

New business scaling

Accountable for the commercial success of new propositions as they scale.

Responsible for defining ongoing product roadmap and working with technology teams to reach product-market fit.

Responsible for overall go-to-market strategy and identifying the best way to build traction with target customers.

Responsible for tracking, reporting and driving success metrics and OKRs, with input from wider teams including the UKI Leadership Team.

Identify and synthesise key learnings that can be used to improve our existing core propositions.

Other

Over time, define an approach to identify and assess further opportunities in adjacent customer groups and propositions.

Act as a thought partner to the UKI Leadership Team on wider innovation topics.

Skills, Capabilities and Experience Required

Strong self-starter mentality, with a track record of taking ideas from ‘0 to 1’.

Experience in launching high quality tech-led consumer propositions.

A good communicator, with excellent relationship building, stakeholder. management skills, and an ability to influence others across the organisation.

A mindset for experimentation, ‘test and learn’ and rapid iteration.

Strong commercial awareness, with an ability to ‘act as CEO’ for new propositions and continually focus on ROI.

A disrupter mindset, prepared to challenge past thinking and inspire others.

Knowledge of Flutter’s capabilities, products and the gambling industry a plus.
