Join our team in Porto as our new Indirect Tax Specialist and make your mark on our organizationIn your Indirect Tax Specialist role, you will do the following:Responsible for Indirect TAX EU compliance for various companies in different countries. Review accounting records, document content, and applicability of Indirect TAX and legal regulations; Prepare and submit Indirect Tax returns as well as necessary compliance checks; Liaise with internal counterparts in order to review individual transactions and request any necessary corrections; Liaise with the Indirect Tax manager and local Accounting regarding Indirect TAX queries; Develop expertise and increase process efficiency and compliance by continuously monitoring, identifying and implementing improvements; Assure clear and complete documentation for all procedures. You are best equipped for this job if you have:A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of studies; Experience in Indirect Taxes, Accounting or a similar role, preferably in VAT compliance, in international and multicultural environment. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; Flexibility to identify and adopt process changes that increase efficiency and compliance; Fluency in English.
