About the Role We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead and execute the operational strategy for Portugal. This executive role encompasses full accountability for service delivery, cross-functional operations, financial control, and talent planning. The role is critical to aligning the organization’s strategic vision with operational execution at the national level. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operational management of the company in Portugal, ensuring execution across departments is efficient and aligned with group objectives. Translate global strategy into localized operational plans, ensuring measurable outcomes and performance alignment. Coordinate business functions to maximize service delivery, streamline execution, and enhance operational quality. Drive budget planning, forecasting, and cost control to support sustainable business performance. Oversee market delivery, service optimization, and operational risk management initiatives. Conduct annual workforce assessments and manage the full employee performance and development cycle. Define, track, and ensure achievement of operational KPIs across Sales, Services, and Quality domains. Extended Scope: Leadership of Outsourcing , Nearshore , and Recruitment operations. Consultant Management : Ensure consultant motivation, performance tracking, and career development. Business Development : Support service sales, lead client negotiations, and drive business pipeline growth. Account Management : Oversee commercial operations including budgeting, billing, and client engagement. Strategic Recruitment Oversight : Manage senior-level recruitment planning and operational hiring governance. Candidate Profile Minimum 10 years of experience in senior operational roles within IT, ideally as Head of Operations, COO, or Nearshore Manager in technology services or consulting environments. Proven leadership across operational execution, commercial delivery, and talent development. Strong experience managing outsourcing or delivery functions, with cross-functional coordination expertise. Solid financial knowledge, including budgeting, cost optimization, and forecasting responsibilities. Experienced in stakeholder engagement at the executive level, with strong business development capabilities. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Offer High-impact leadership role in a strategic market.
