Banco de Investimento Global, S.A. (BiG) is an independent financial institution headquartered in Lisbon, operating for over 25 years in Portugal and since 2020 in Spain. The Bank focuses on providing a range of savings, investment and advisory services for private and institutional clients, with a mid‑market Corporate Finance division that offers financial advisory in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets transactions across all industries, particularly in cross‑border opportunities. Job Description The selected candidate will act as Deputy Director of the Corporate Finance team based in Lisbon, playing a key role in developing new business and executing mandates by: Participating in originating new business opportunities; Establishing contacts with mid‑market corporations, C‑suite executives and entrepreneurs; Designing, reviewing and executing pitchbooks and proposals to potential clients; Managing and executing M&A and capital markets mandates while ensuring best practice standards in quality, calendar, client service and compliance; Cooperating with senior management in the training and development of the Corporate Finance team. Qualifications 7–12 years of experience in M&A, consulting, investment banking or transaction services; Master’s degree in Finance, Management or equivalent; Strong commercial and entrepreneurial drive; Solid analytical competencies: financial modelling, valuation and M&A execution; Clear and rigorous written and oral communication; Proficiency in Portuguese and English; Alignment with BiG’s core values of integrity, transparency and ethical conduct.
