The Service Business is crucial in the growth strategy of Alfa Laval Iberica as well as a critical driver for creating an outstanding customer experience-  

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in Portugal who will be responsible for executing all services jobs of our service portfolio on specific products, modules, and systems.  

The main responsibilities will be: 

  • Responsible for executing and providing technical support to customer: commissioning, installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining as well as condition monitoring and energy audits on products, modules and systems at customer site 

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems with application and deep product knowledge on customer’s site 

  • Create advanced service report on site for the customer and commercial team 

Who you are…? 

  • A person who used to work on industrial environment, and: 

  • to deal with electrical and automation issues and updates. 

  • Familiarized within measurements instruments and PLC's 

  • Familiarized with rotary equipment such as pumps, turbines, and all that theoretical knowledge about fluid mechanics 

  • An analytic, solution driven and proactive person with focus on achieving results and ensure that key objectives are met. 

  • Customer Focused person, putting the customers and ensuring that customer needs are met 

 

Job requirements... 
  •  Degree in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering or similar is a plus. 

  • 5+ years field service experience on electromechanical activities. 

  • Languages: 

  • Fluent Portuguese, verbal and written.  

  • At least intermediate level in English, verbal and written. 

  • Spanish knowledge will be a plus-  

  • Experience in an international context and across borders with colleagues and customers from other cultures. 

  • High level of availability to travel, in Portugal and Spain. 

  • Residence in Portugal.
