Associate Director, Change Management, Communications and Training Lead

The candidate must be based in Lisbon.

Purpose of the role

As part of this role, you will lead and oversee all aspects of change management, communication, and training activities for the Business Technology function within Organon. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define each project's scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with the function's business goals and the specific needs of the impacted audience. To ensure the success of each initiative, you'll need to develop comprehensive project plans that outline the schedule, resourcing, budget, and critical milestones.  You'll also be responsible for managing stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the lifecycle of each activity. You will provide regular updates and proactively address any concerns that may arise. Furthermore, you identify potential problems, implement corrective actions to mitigate them and ensure the project's success. Monitoring and evaluating the completion and effectiveness of each initiative is essential for continuous improvement. By effectively leading and overseeing the change management, communication, and training activities, you'll play a vital role in supporting the company's success and the professional development of its employees.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Business Technology's end-to-end change management, communications, and training activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.â
  • Develop detailed project and resource plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).â
  • Identify resources, including subject-matter experts and trainers. â
  • Manage stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the lifecycle of the planned activities, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.â
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.â
  • Monitor and evaluate training completion and effectiveness, soliciting participant and stakeholder feedback and making improvement recommendations.â
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationship between the Business Technology stakeholders and the Global Delivery and Operations team for the development of training content.
  • Oversee and manage the tasks of the team.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Change Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field with a strong emphasis on corporate change management methodologies.â  MS or MBA preferred.
  • 5 or more years of proven experience managing corporate change management projects, with a focus on technology implementations.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, and track progress effectively. A mix of waterfall and agile methodologies (Scrum and SAFe) will be used to manage associated projects.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.â
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.â
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and business problems into easy-to-understand communications and presentations.
  • Strong background with soft skills i.e., Presentations, templates, communication skills etc.
  • Experience on change management principles and methodologies.â
  • Experience working with enterprise software platforms.â
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.â
  • Experience with project management and visualization tools such as Jira, PowerBI preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, or comparable certifications or experience leading an Agile project team preferred.
