Foodriders.co is a collective of professionals from design, gastronomy, and hospitality who came together during the pandemic to create a highly curated food boutique centered on transparency.

We envision a future that is flexible, open, and more than just food—a future that connects people through experience, innovation, and community.

Our mission is to engage directly with our customers, whether that's in a dining room, food truck, open-kitchen pickup spot, abandoned cork factory, or even the International Space Station.

We're looking for bold and passionate individuals to help bring this vision to life.

What is a Foodriders Manager?

Foodriders attracts leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail. Our managers are passionate about restaurants, hospitality, and delivering outstanding service. This is a performance-driven role designed to help you grow into a well-rounded hospitality professional.

Newly hired managers follow a self-directed training model, quickly developing their skills and gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant operations. Training typically lasts around 8 weeks, depending on previous experience.

As a manager, you'll become an integral part of the leadership team, learning from our executive chefs, mentors, and training staff. You'll gain expertise in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, equipping yourself with the tools to run a business and lead a team successfully.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds—you don't need to be an expert on day one. What matters is your drive, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Our ideal candidates are:

 Experienced: 3+ years in a restaurant management role, overseeing teams of 10+ members per shift

 Passionate about hospitality: Dedicated to exceptional service and high-quality food experiences

 Hands-on leaders: Excited to mentor, coach, and support team members

 Problem-solvers: Quick thinkers who can adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment

 Tech-savvy & organized: Able to manage scheduling, logistics, and operational efficiency

 Community-driven: Engaged in local initiatives and sustainability efforts

 Self-starters: Proactive, results-oriented, and always seeking ways to improve the business

Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Foodriders Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading your team and shaping the customer experience. Your responsibilities include:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead by example, setting high standards for service, efficiency, and professionalism
  • Hire, train, and develop team members to excel and grow within the company
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and collaborative workplace culture

Operations & Customer Experience

  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Ensure exceptional service and seamless customer interactions
  • Execute local marketing & community engagement initiatives
  • Maintain food safety and security standards at all times

Business & Performance Management

  • Drive sales, revenue, and operational efficiency
  • Optimize labor scheduling for cost-effectiveness and service quality
  • Proactively solve challenges and remove barriers to success
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and performance management for staff
