Job Description: German-Speaking Customer Service Representative – Onsite in Porto
We are seeking passionate and motivated German-Speaking Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting German-speaking customers with a wide range of inquiries and providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities:
As a German-Speaking Customer Service Representative, your role will primarily involve:
- Customer Support: You will be the first point of contact for our German-speaking customers. Your main task will be to assist customers via phone, email, and live chat, addressing their inquiries, providing effective solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: You will troubleshoot various issues that customers may face and deliver personalized solutions, guiding them through the process to resolve their concerns quickly and effectively.
- Product Expertise: You will develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services, enabling you to provide customers with clear, accurate, and helpful information to help them navigate any challenges they may encounter.
- Professional Communication: It will be essential for you to communicate in a professional, clear, and empathetic manner, ensuring that customers feel heard and valued at all touchpoints during their interactions with the company.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with other departments within the company to resolve more complex customer issues and contribute to an overall improvement of the customer experience.
- Customer Feedback: You will play a vital role in collecting feedback from customers to share insights that will help improve the services offered.
- Documentation: You will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, solutions provided, and feedback gathered, ensuring that all information is accurately captured in our internal systems.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Language Skills: You must be fluent in German and have at least an intermediate level of English. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages are essential for this role.
- Experience: While prior customer service experience is preferred, it is not required. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to help others are just as important.
- Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate effectively, clearly, and empathetically with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with every interaction.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly identify issues and find efficient solutions is crucial to success in this role.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills are necessary, and you should have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and web-based applications.
- Team-Oriented: As part of a team, you will collaborate with colleagues from various departments, so teamwork and a positive attitude are key to thriving in this role.

Schedule:
- Working Hours: This role requires flexibility, as it operates with rotational shifts from Monday to Sunday. Your shifts will fall between 08:00 and 19:00, with the possibility of extending the late shift until 21:00 as per client agreements (although this has not occurred since the line opened).
- Days off: You will have two rotational days off each week, ensuring you have time to rest and recharge.
