Position Summary


The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee.

Since 1986, Nespresso has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their espresso coffee. We are currently looking for a
Supply Planner to join our Demand & Supply Planning team of Nespresso Portugal.

Your main mission will be to deliver operational excellence and product availability by ensuring the appropriate levels of stocks for Nespresso Boutique commercial channel and secondary warehouses for the defined Nespresso product range (amongst machines, coffee capsules and accessories) supplied to Nespresso Portugal and ensure our Boutiques' supply management.

A day in the life of a Supply Planner

  • Control and analyze defined KPI's for operational processes;
  • Manage operational issues with supplies (orders, returns, calloffs, deliveries);
  • Assure new launches availability at all warehouses;
  • Manage events in close relationship with local departments (limited editions, new products launches, phase out of products, promotions or special events);
  • Manage all specific extraordinary requests/demands from customers (internal and external), with Demand Planners;
  • Manage supply planning for a specific category when requested (analyze baselines, events, impactors, uplifts, etc.);
  • Management of Boutiques' stock, mix of products, based on the sales, forecast and stock levels agreed;
  • Ensure the most efficient replenishment process of all Boutiques, with the correct stock covers and product's availability;
  • Align with the 3PL the replenishment plan and updates to it, according the sales seasonality, new openings and conditions of each Boutique;
  • Budget control of the replenishment process.

What will make you successful

  • University Degree in Engineering and Industrial Management, Management or any other related field
  • Up to 2 years of operational experience in one of the following areas is recommended: Factory Planning; Supply Planning; Demand Planning or Logistics
  • Good understanding of the Commercial, Purchasing and Production functions
  • Business insight: understands commercial impact/implications of supply
  • Financial understanding key business drivers, budget and forecasting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), a preliminary experience with SAP-APO and SAP-R3 is a plus; Power BI also as a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills
  • Solid relational and communication skills
  • Strong resultsoriented person and team player
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure situations
