Job Mission

The Key Account Manager's overall objective is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with RB's strategic objectives (NR, COP, Gross Margin, NWC), and to manage the customer relationship on an on going basis.

Based within the country sales structure the Key Account Manager is responsible for a key customer.

The role has accountability for the full scope of RB's commercial interaction with the customer, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer to the management of promotional activities.

The role requires close cross functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics, finance, and IS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve strategic objectives per customer i.e. NR, COP, Gross Margin, NWC
  • Build long term partnership with the customer
  • Manage and organize the team territorially according to the market and their potential
  • Coach and develop the team
  • Manage the promotional strategy per customer and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimization)
  • Manage the negotiations with the customer in relation to RB commercial strategy and the customer trading terms
  • Implement and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer
  • Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories
  • Stimulate the teamwork and maintain a high motivation level
  • Elaborate and allocate the quantitative and qualitative goals
  • Supervise all investments made with costumers
  • Cherish that the net is working with good conducts and according to the company philosophy and values
  • Be aware to any complication and search immediate solutions
  • Responsible for achieving strategic objectives per customer i.e. NR,
  • Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer, and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimization)
  • Responsible for managing customer negotiations in relation to RB commercial strategy and the customer trading terms
  • Responsible for developing customer new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation

US Additional requirements:

  • Educated to minimum bachelor degree level ideally in management in a recognized University.
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in other languages is advantageous.
  • This is a position for individuals with minimum 3 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Marketing and Key Account Management
