PPM Coachers is recruiting for the position of Production IT Operations

Your mission:

  • Be a member of the global support team for Production IT Operations, assuming local responsibility for IT Operations in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain).
  • Collaborate, exchange and share tasks with other members of the global production IT operations support team at headquarters.
  • Take on support cases mainly for global production IT support in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain).
  • Solve IT problems thinking E2E with a good overview of all interacting IT systems.
  • Escalate IT issues to responsible IT system owners, and track and maintain accountability for the issue.
  • Coordinate system launches with the UDI corporate group.
  • Configure standardized software solutions to meet local production needs.
  • Monitor the system (server, Docker microservices, etc.) including interfaces.
  • Manage incidents for shop floor systems. Troubleshoot, coordinate stakeholder groups, communicate, and provide enduser guidance.
  • Maintain and monitor backups of productiondependent software/systems.
  • Conduct enduser training on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functionality.
  • Maintain master data and support equipment implementation as well as new product implementation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company's goals, objectives, policies and priorities.
  • Conducts research, analyzes data, and makes recommendations on administrative, organizational, and operational issues.
  • Configure regular PCS database extracts of TPT, defect rate, and OTD.
  • Forward feedback on issues and system optimization to the HQ IT operations team (example of testing and implementing MES PCS versions).
  • Be a project manager in close connection with engineering to internally inform project due dates and scope.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or similar studies.
  • Minimum of 3 years in general technical support and MS Windows Server support preferred in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with shop floor systems and connecting software to machine interfaces.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, such as Servicenow.
  • Experience with IT demands, company strategic decisions, KPI's and IT resources.
  • Knowledge of networks, systems and infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of SAP system.
