Essential responsibilities and duties:

The Program Quality VIE is a member of the Program Quality Team.

He/she has overall responsibility for the achievement of quality deliverables until the start of serial production:

  • Program Quality function:
  • Ensure capitalization of experience from previous/current programs
  • Support PPAP to OEM and drive/lead Supplier PPAP before transfer and handover to plant SQA (Plant Supplier Quality)
  • Support failure analysis with Prg. and Plant Teams
  • Support Advanced Supplier Quality Function activities with a supplier when there is quality issue affecting the customer
  • Lead and develop suppliers by using the elements of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Give recommendations and/or technical decisions to ensure a defectfree process at SOP
  • Manage the identification and securization of Special Characteristics
  • Ensure/evaluate Product and Process robustness at suppliers
  • Qualify the production processes of your suppliers under the guideline of automotive standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3) and confirm that the components are meeting quality
- and quantity requirements before SOP (Mass Production Trials, Run-at
  • Rates)
  • Track any deviations from expected requirements to have a permanent product/process status versus target. Manage action plans in case of deviations and train the suppliers to ensure that the defined standards are properly applied
  • Interact with the OEM directly on a regular base: Mutual definition of requirements, frequent reporting, and proactive communication with our customer
  • Represents the Customer Voice within the company and ensure leadership when needed with the suppliers/customers.
  • Support on specific critical items managed by other Program Core Team functions in order to ensure a successful launch and customer satisfaction:
  • Design validation Plan: Analyse consistency and tests results
  • Failure Mode Analysis and

Control Plan:
Ensure alignment and best practice sharing

  • Appearance Approval: Ensure that the very first customer approval for appearance is available
  • Perceived Quality: Coordinate understanding about internal quality issues and customer complaints
  • Convergence Plans: Ensure convergence planning and overall coordination and follow up
  • Process Robustness: Ensure alignment about Key Characteristics, Poka Yoke, Standard Work, Process Capabilities.
  • Risk Assessment: Manage the risk assessment process with a focus on Poka Yoke, Final Inspection and Temporary Quality Wall

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level: Master's degree in engineering (mechanics, plastic industry, etc.)
  • Language: English/German Fluent, German is a plus
- experience in the Automotive industry is a plua

  • Knowledge in Quality tools: Functional analysis, FMEA, Special Characteristics, reliability, problem solving, variability reduction, etc
  • Leadership and autonomy.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Management abilities in a matrix environnement.
  • International mindset.
