You'll lead strategic efforts scaling up development teams that work on Intapp's portfolio of products. This role requires someone passionate about building teams with a great culture and experience with establishing new centers. Our Lisbon center is our flagship development center in Europe.

Responsibilities include aligning R&D with company goals, fostering an innovative culture of high-performance teams, and collaborating with teams across Intapp.


What you will do:
Lead the R&D site with a strategic vision, in alignment with company objectives and scaling teams
Align center's strategy with overall business goals and operational plans.
Establish and nurture team organization principles, pivotal roles, and operational frameworks.
Collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team to devise a comprehensive strategy for talent sourcing through various channels.

Work in tandem with the talent acquisition team and R&D leadership to craft a robust and sustainable talent acquisition lifecycle encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and retention.

Utilize experience in building and staffing new development centers to guide the establishment and growth of the R&D site.

Cultivate an atmosphere of innovation, cooperation, and excellence at the R&D site, fostering a vibrant and stimulating workplace culture within Intapp and across teams.

Establish policies, process and programs to support engineering excellences across the center

Act as the primary liaison for cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners, providing regular updates on project progress, hurdles, and prospects.

Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes, offering strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.

What you will need:
Hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science.

Possess over 15 years of experience in research and development, demonstrating a track record of steering successful R&D initiatives, including experience collaborating with organizations in Silicon Valley.

Preference given to candidates with experience in building and staffing new development centers.
Strong technical background in SaaS products and enterprise products.
Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Robust problem-solving skills and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
