The Role


The Global Delivery Center (GDC) is an internal service center that provides high quality and efficient international benefits business and brokerage operations and support on both a global and local level.

Work performed within the Center includes flexible benefits administration, global benefits database management, reporting and consolidation, benchmarking, contract renewal analysis, claims tracking and resolution, billing and commissions, transition project management, and benefit audit support.


What will you do?
To support the delivery of that strategy, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements necessary for the smooth operation of the Lisbon hub to ensure the success of transitions and ensure the team is stabilized by the end of 202
  • Design and develop comprehensive reporting frameworks that align with business objectives and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards that provide insights into operational performance Analyse data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify areas for improvement and increase operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including Operations, Finance, and IT, to gather data sources and ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Develop automated reporting processes to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting tasks.
  • Provide training and support to endusers on accessing and interpreting reports and dashboards effectively.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years' experience working in reporting, ideally gained in a benefit consulting / brokerage firm, at an insurance company, or an outsourcing company doing insurance or operations processes
  • University degree (preferably in a program with a heavy emphasis on mathematics or business)
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Capacity for synthesis
  • Customer orientation and ability to respond to all types of communications effectively and efficiently
  • Selfstarter attitude with the ability to establish priorities, work independently and with limited supervision
  • Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
  • Proactive collaboration with a global team includes taking accountability for quality and ontime delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriate
  • Continuous improvement mindset increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service repetition

Technical skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills
  • Experience with data entry, validation and manipulation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Power BI knowledge is an advantage
