You will be building a world class, global Sales Development organization and will be responsible for overseeing our rapidly scaling global team, coaching and training them to rapidly build pipelines for the sales team.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to guide your team as well as be hands on to create and execute prospecting and demand generation plans, identify customer needs, demonstrate product knowledge, and help drive opportunities for sales.

You will work with the senior sales and marketing leadership to determine your sales development plan against sales targets, driving measurable results that achieve and exceed revenue and growth goals.

You are a strategic thinker, proven and empathic people leader, and energetic "do-er" with a strong bias to taking action

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Recruit, hire, manage a team of Sales Development Representatives / Inside SalesCoach your team through mentorship and modelling of positive behaviours to deliver results.

Build team culture, by keeping the team engaged, informed, and motivatedFoster a competitive and collaborative team environmentDevelop and implement training programmes to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.


Lead Generation:
Develop and execute effective lead generation strategies to drive pipeline growth.
Analyse market trends and customer behaviour to identify new opportunities for lead generation.
Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise inbound lead qualification processes.

Process and performance Analytics:
Implement tool and process improvements.
Develop and maintain KPIs and performance metrics for the SDR team, regularly reporting on key insights to leadership.
Utilise data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, driving data-informed decision-making. Requirements Proven experience (+5 years) managing a team of Sales Development/Inside Sales Reps, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment.
Proven experience in a scale-up fast growing companyStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing & product marketing teams to achieve results and drive continuous improvement in performance and processes.

In-depth understanding of SDR best practices, sales processes and tools.
Experience using Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel & LinkedInA motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates an enthusiastic, never give up attitudeAn ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and practices, while constantly challenging the status quo and impementing improvements where necessaryExcellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisationExperience using reports & tools to maximise team performanceKnowledge in AI/ML is a nice have Benefits
