Job description


At Mantu we are looking for a new procurement category manager, focused on indirect procurement commodity, to complete our growing department.


The ideal candidate will have several years of procurement experience, and will be highly driven by challenges, data analysis and strategic thinking, topped with an indirect purchasing commodities market knowledge.


Your role:

  • Help define commodity road map in line with group strategy
  • Collect and advice on crossfunctional corporate/ business requirements
  • Manage a team of procurement officers to deploy the strategy
  • Conduct, develop, negotiate and close commercial contracts
  • Be actor in group projects and critical negotiation
  • Be motor of the growth of the commodity through process implementation, spend analysis and KPI follow up
  • Be the main link between procurement department and stakeholders

Ideal Profile:

  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Proven track record of RFP management for indirect purchasing categories
  • Good MS office / automation knowledge
  • Experience in indirect procurement field is mandatory
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive person, ready to work in a fastgrowing environment
  • Ability to influence people and work in autonomy
  • 13 years in procurement with ideally a strong background on indirect purchasing commodities
  • Mastery of Generative AI such as ChatGPT or is a plus for improving day to day activity.
