We intend to reinforce our DABS Portugal team with the admission of a
Finance & Administration Manager (M/F).

Desired profile:

  • Practical experience in local Portuguese accounting and IFRS

Functions:


Finance & Administration manager will assume the responsibilities of all accounting and reporting requirements at Dassault Aviation Business Services Portugal, supported by the local account assistants.

The role will report into Group Head of Accounting and to DABS PRT site manager, in close collaboration with local management and functional interactions with company headquarters in Geneva.


Main responsibilities:
Q Preparation of monthly accounts, including month-end and year-end reporting needs

Q Monthly accruals calculations, intercompany accounts management and reconciliations, journal postings with an overall view over the General Ledger

Q Cash management (receipts, payments, forecast), in coordination with site manager and group finance team)

Q Statutory financial accounts filing, VAT and statistical reporting

Q Coordination of annual audit queries resolution, responses to finance and fiscal audits

Q Financial processes improvements with related documentation and internal controls implementation (incl. but not limited to balance sheet reconciliations); focus on automation

Q Work closely with the Head office (Geneva finance team) on accounting and reporting harmonization, as well as timely response to Dassault Aviation queries

Q Transactional back-up flexibility for other team members and openness to process AP, AR, treasury entries or any general ledger entries when needed

Q Management of Accounts Assistants, support to controlling/management accounting

Q Follow Company procedures and anti-corruption policy

Q Promotes and is a role model according to Companies Values

Q Ad-hoc projects and queries

Experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in industrial or semi industrial accounting (aviation sector preferred)
  • Experience with audit firm preferred

Education:

  • Qualified accountant with accredited professional body

; Experience with both local Portuguese accounting and IFRS.

Conditions:
