Uber Eats was launched in Portugal in November 2017 and is now the most downloaded Food Delivery App. We are available in 100+ cities, delivering from over 8000+ restaurants, and growing quickly

Uber Eats delivers the best of your city right when you want it. Our curated menus feature dishes from the local spots you love and the ones you've always wanted to try. It's the same cashless payment as an Uber ride. You just have to tap the app and get your food delivered right to your doorstep and enjoy


Despite being a worldwide company, we recognize that Uber Eats path to success originates from a strong local presence, delivering to our users the best local restaurant selection, one of our main differentiators.

The Field Sales embody this strategy, by driving the development of specific cities/areas, focusing primarily on restaurants.

This role is a rare opportunity to help grow Uber Eats in Portugal with a strong sense of ownership and have a direct impact on the success of one of Uber Eats' fastest-growing countries and drive a step-change in the evolution of the food delivery business.


The role calls for a combination of pre-sales and analytical skills, proficiency in sales and negotiation, customer obsession and organizational skills.

You should be comfortable with challenging negotiations and pitching new businesses to customers who are new to this type of service.


  • As a Field Sales, you will be in charge of developing partnerships in specific areas and/or cities, to
    help restaurants find new business lines while thinking big and defining their strategy regarding delivery, the biggest disruption to the restaurant space in decades
  • You will identify key restaurants to partner with to keep
    enriching the selection already available on Uber Eats, and coordinate with our dedicated account managers to make sure you guarantee the best onboarding and launch.

You'll have to build the
best restaurant offering:


  • You will create and implement a
    portfolio optimization
    strategy in your area, in order to address all delivery needs of our users in your area. You'll be a key influence in the offering available
  • You will develop partnership proposals in order to maximize
    value for our partners and Uber Eats as well
  • You will acquire an
    extensive knowledge of the area and cities to identify further options to keep developing Uber Eats (new suburbs to cover, new categories to partner with...)

Basic Qualifications
-
At least one year of experience post
  • Bachelors in B2B sales, business development, marketing, entrepreneurship or consulting
  • Sharp negotiation, presales, and analytical skills

Hunter mindset. You'll find creative solutions to engage with your partners and will be driven and motivated by commercial challenges

Highly autonomous & proactive. Able to work with mínimal oversight, and move forward from issues management to push growth initiatives and projects. You are able to take initiative and easily adapt to a constantly evolving work environment

Exceptional speaking, reading comprehension, and writing skills, both in Portuguese and English
