About the Team


The Global SMB Sales organization's mission is to establish Cisco's strategy and GTM in the SMB space, to achieve efficient and scalable operating model that positions Cisco best to capture the growing SMB market.

Our focus is to simplify sales operations, scale partner sales acceleration, through sales enablement, marketing campaign and program focus.


The SMB Global SPO team is looking to hire a Business Operations Support Specialist to join our SMB Commerce Hub team and support on custom sales operations cases as well as coordinate their resolution amongst key stakeholders managing sales tools and business sales processes.

The SMB Commerce Hub is a support service that Cisco is providing to Partners on SMB deals, while streamlining process of CCW deal conversion into SFDC for our SMB Sales teams, resolving sales operation process gaps to support SMB sales teams' efficiency and success.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Review and assess sales operations processes, work on identifying improvement areas, support process design and suggest alternatives for optimization.
  • Act as second level of escalation and provide operational support to SMB teams in Partners and Distributors queries.
  • Document cases of system behavior not inline with the designed behavior and help in escalating these to responsible IT/Sales Tools teams.
  • Partner with architecture specialists and renewals teams to identify operational improvement in CCW quotes creation and submission.
  • Interlock with business analysts to support sales tools analysis and reporting, monitor key performance indicators and proposes activities to optimize program performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations in the IT industry
  • 2+ years of experience in sales and/or operations in Cisco is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, operations, or data science related field preferred
  • Experience in Distribution or Partner sales Management is considered as advantage
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Practical experience in project management, problem solving is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel is required
  • Analytical skills: Analyses multiple sources of information and evaluates several alternative solutions to confirm path forward.
  • Ability to work independent remotely and provide support to teams globally.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components.

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%.

Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation.
