For our Electrical Features team, within the Blade Submodules and Technology Department, we are looking for a highly skilled Blade Features Engineer.
The job will expose the engineer to a wide range of tasks allowing personal and technical growth and achieving a deep understanding of wind turbine blades.

How to contribute to our vision As a Blade Features Engineer, you are responsible for driving design and development of blade features including sensors, lightning protection and ice protection systems.
Typical tasks include planning, technical design, conceptualization, simulation, testing and technical risk management.Support across the value chain is given, from procurement and supplier qualification to production implementation, product and fleet quality management and customer communication.
Develop blade protection systems and sensors with a focus on manufacturability and qualityLead innovation and conceptualize how new technologies can strengthen the blade features areaWork with a value chain approach to optimize the product in collaboration with different interfacesEstablish a clear understanding of design drivers and have a structured approach to expand the boundariesManage projects with internal and external stakeholders and secure good and close communicationBe a bridge between the Blade Technology department and the organizationWhat You Need To Make a Difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
We are also looking for...A Masters or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, Maritime, Electrical Engineering or Wind EnergyYou understand mechanical and electrical concepts.
You can bridge between purely electrical topics and structural risksYou have a proven track record in working with production environmentsYou can drive your own tasks actively at a high standardYou have an outreaching personalityEngaging with stakeholders in different parts of the organization energizes youExcellent English skills both orally and in writing are a must in the international team, and it is of highest importance that you can communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner.
