Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to manage our award-winning global internship programmes in Lisbon, Portugal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Take overall management of a select group of companies to ease the placement process and ensure they are prepared to host intern participants
  • Ensure all due diligence has been undertaken and expectation management is handled between Pagoda and the host company
  • Explain how Pagoda provides benefits and manages expectations from the start with all new hosts
  • Assist in building a sustainable relationship which is a winwinwin for the participants, Pagoda & the host organisation
  • Listen and act on feedback and make companywide suggestions via the Head of Company Relations.

Business Development

  • Lead Generation research, find and meet with potential internship companies for the scaling of the online
programme

  • Research, book and attend incity networking events from time to time, these may take place outside of normal office hours
  • Sign Partnerships with new host companies and work towards goals and objectives set out by the Head of Company Relations
  • Explain how Pagoda provides benefits and manages expectations from the start with all new hosts
  • Expand Pagoda's global work experience network and aid significantly the company mission.

Placements Process

  • Liaising with our global teams to ensure speedy placement of participants with internship host companies
  • Working with our Head of Company Relations to ensure targets are met within time frames
  • Placing all students in suitable organisations by deadlines and assisting with the transition to delivery
  • Inform Head of Company Relations in a timely manner if any delays or issues with successfully placing a participant and foreseeable

Placement Coaching

  • Listen to applicants' concerns and queries and aim to troubleshoot over the phone or escalate to management as necessary
  • Keep abreast of new companies, internship positions, changes to standard operating procedures and companywide policies
  • Actively look to increase your understanding of new partners, both host companies and University partners, and their requirements

Programme Delivery

  • Embody Pagoda Values
  • Ensure a fantastic participant experience; with a focus on cultural exchange, career competency gains and development and personal development.


Visas and Compliance
  • Help to ensure all documentation and due diligence checks are complete for participants and take an active lead on visa administration in compliance with local rules and regulations.
  • Participant Management & Support
  • Take overall charge of the delivery of programmes "on the ground" overseeing the success of each participant's progress on a Pagoda Programme. This will involve dealing with adhoc issues, providing support, whilst ensuring that an inclusive, safe, and enjoyable programme is experienced by all.


Accommodation Management
  • Source, book and manage accommodation for all participants ensure quality is maintained, any issues resolved and requests are handled timely and clearly communicated internally and externally if brought to your attention.
  • Airport Pickups and Company Drop Offs
  • Manage timelines and transportation, communicate processes and ensure that these programme elements are organised in line with health and safety protocols and company expectations.
