Workplace Service and Solutions Business Manager

HP Workforce Solutions is one of the 5 Big Bets for HP and it will really drive a transformation in our Sales and Category teams.

We hire a Personal Systems Services Business Development Manager in Portugal to grow HP Services and Solutions business in close relationship with different HP teams: Sales, Pursuit, HW Category, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations and Finance


As we move on in this journey the Services ecosystem is getting more complex and we need to make sure we manage our Core and more traditional Services (Support, logistic Services, Configuration and Deployment Services) while we accelerate to a more outcome based selling approach developing Managed and Digital Services.

It will be essential to integrate new initiatives like Security, device management and monitoring or Sustainability and how we transition from traditional IT to Modern cloud based services and solutions.

This will also change our portfolio and capabilities and AI and Automation will be included in our main offers.


This role will also enable transformation internally at HP, and in the way we sell to our customers and partners increasing employee experience and productivity, reducing costs and complexity and addressing higher demand for aaS models or security concerns.


The Key Roles roles & responsibilities are:

  • 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) Management
  • Business and P&L Management
  • Business planning and forecasting, working on yearly and quarterly plans to achieve our goals
  • Internal and external communication of our Services and Value Proposition
  • Keep close relationship all Services ecosystem in HP Portugal: Sales, Pursuit, Marketing, CS, Sales Ops, Finance
  • Grow business with new Services and Solutions
HP's Services offering is structured around 4 key pillars:

  • Lifecycle Services: Configuration Services, Support
  • Digital Services/ Software: Device Management, Security, HP Anyware, Subscription Management
  • Managed Services: MDS (DaaS) / MCS (Rooms as a Service)
  • HP Renew/ Sustainability Solutions

Responsibilities & Scope

  • Manage PS Services &v Solutions business in Portugal and work actively on Business development
  • Services 4P: Service Offering, Pricing, Promotion & Place
  • Achieve key performance indicators like Orders, Revenue, GPM, TCV /ACV and Funnel
  • Work closely aligned and integrated with local hardware Category team and End User and Channel Sales teams
  • Evangelize, enable and support Account Managers with initiatives to maximize Service Sales.
  • Support Partner and customer events.
  • Communicate and agree on Sales goals, explain strategy to achieve them and follow up on execution

Experience & Education

  • 57 years in Information Technology Services business and/or Product Category / Sales specialist role
  • Minimum 57 years of professional experience after degree
  • Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, management information systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
