Owning and performing payments and corresponding reporting. Ensuring improvement of processes and controls in this area. Collaborate with Product teams to propose improvements to the payment process. Support month-end close tasks and ad-hoc needs of the business, such as annual audits. Owning process documentation and developing robust, concise documentation for all areas of focus. Identifying process improvements and automation opportunities, as well as internal controls, to drive positive change across the organization.
Who are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting / auditing:
Experience with data analysis and SQL Ability to assess business processes and implement improvements and controls Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate accounting results to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, while exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and continuously driving process improvements.
Prefered or Plus points:
Public accounting experience with Big Four accounting firms (Deloitte, PWC, EY, KPMG) or second-tier national firm Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP, or other ERP) preferred Working knowledge of internal controls is a plus Benefits
