We are putting together an exceptional team and we would be thrilled to have you on board As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in an agile project squad handling all the different components of a system's infrastructure. From coding to setting up infrastructures to conducting root cause analysis, all the while ensuring that you find joy in learning and creating.

You will be tasked with guiding the team on top-notch DevOps methodologies and best practices, and you will have regular interactions with top-level executives from the client's side, so proficiency in English should come naturally to you :)

There will be opportunities for both national and international travel based on project/client requirements and organizational needs, typically ranging from 0% to 15%.

Requirements

Essentials

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Ruby, Python, Bash, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems troubleshooting for root causes of issues
  • Familiarity with the internal workings of the Internet and Web applications
  • Expertise in metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and observability practices
  • Knowledge of configuration management frameworks such as Ansible
  • Experience in maintaining applications in production environments
  • Being open to learning and teaching others with humility
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently towards team or company goals
  • Strong technical communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical individuals
  • Comfortable with DevOps methodologies and best practices
  • Bonus points for experience with DataDog for monitoring and Snowflake for Data Warehouse

Expertise

  • Proficiency in working with Cloud provider AWS
  • Experience with containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
  • Thorough understanding of CI/CD regardless of tools, with a preference for Github and Jenkins
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Practical knowledge of GitOps using Argocd
  • Experience leading teams in DevOps best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and engage with C-Level individuals from the client side
  • Open to learning and teaching others with humility
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently towards team or company goals
