WTW's Finance team is in need of a Financial Analyst to join their Global Finance Analytics Centre of Expertise (GFA CoE) crew. You'll be a key player in adding value to the business, working closely with the Business Finance teams and the broader global GFA CoE team across WTW's Centers. You'll collaborate with Business Finance leaders to assist in the FP&A processes – reporting, analytics, insights, forecasting, and planning – and aim to become a reliable consultant by delivering valuable insights promptly, and with the necessary quality controls.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Drive financial planning procedures within the assigned segment / business unit / regions / functions.
  • Provide financial analysis and key performance indicators to enhance comprehension of business outcomes.
  • Present monthly financial performance versus budget, forecast, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct client profitability analysis, new business evaluation, and revenue analysis to support business expansion.
  • Offer salary, benefits, and other cost analysis and reporting.
  • Reconcile financial data and variances to address inquiries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial documents such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow.
  • Provide working capital and cash flow analysis to elucidate Free Cash Flow influencers.
  • Inspect dashboards and provide insights on results.
  • Maintain investment, cost, transformation monitoring and reporting, analysis.
  • Comprehend the planning process and contribute to establishing WTW's budget / forecast.
  • Execute reconciliation processes among diverse systems and reports.
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly obligations and review with Business Finance leaders including revenue analysis, month-end results and narratives, quarterly business reviews presentations.
  • Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
  • Construct financial models and analysis incorporating decision-oriented KPIs.
  • Document and update procedures and tasks.
  • Evaluate processes for enhancement, process mapping, and develop and preserve standard operating procedures documentation.
  • Ensure smooth transition of processes, tasks from different teams by proactively addressing requirements and providing solutions.
  • Meet established global service benchmarks and follow internal procedures to offer a consistent service worldwide.
  • Offer ad-hoc and project support.
  • Any other added responsibility as necessary based on current or new process needs.

The Finance team caters to both internal and external clients: colleagues, client organizations, shareholders, financial entities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies globally.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc).
  • Experience working with FP&A and Business Intelligence tools like Hyperion Planning / ePBCs, Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Capable of taking initiative and operating effectively within a global team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
