WTW's Finance function is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Global Finance Analytics Centre of Expertise (GFA CoE) team. You will have a crucial role in adding value to business operations, collaborating closely with Business Finance teams and the wider GFA CoE global team within WTW's Centres. Working alongside Business Finance leaders, you will contribute to FP&A processes, including reporting, analytics, insights, forecasting, and planning, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who delivers timely and high-quality insights.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Drive financial planning process within assigned segment / business unit / regions / functions.
  • Provide financial analysis and key performance indicators to enhance comprehension of business outcomes.
  • Present monthly financial performance versus budget, forecast, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct client profitability analysis, new business assessment, and revenue analysis to foster business expansion.
  • Analyze salary, benefits, and other costs for reporting purposes.
  • Reconcile financial data and variances to address inquiries.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow.
  • Offer insights on working capital and cash flow for Free Cash Flow determinants.
  • Review dashboards and provide commentary on outcomes.
  • Manage investment, cost, transformation tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Comprehend the planning process and contribute to establishing WTW's budget/forecast.
  • Perform reconciliation processes across various systems and reports.
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly deliverables, reviewing them with Business Finance leaders, including revenue analysis, month-end results, and presentations for quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
  • Create financial models and analysis with KPIs oriented towards decision-making.
  • Document and update procedures and tasks regularly.
  • Evaluate processes for enhancement, map processes, and create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure seamless transfer of processes and tasks between teams by proactively meeting requirements and offering solutions.
  • Uphold agreed global service standards and comply with internal procedures to ensure consistent global service delivery.
  • Provide ad-hoc and project support.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as needed to align with existing or new process demands.

The Finance function caters to a diverse range of customers, both internal and external, including colleagues within the company, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, suppliers, and regulatory bodies worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc).
  • Experience working with FP&A and Business Intelligence applications such as Hyperion Planning/ePBCs, Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German.
  • Ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively within a global team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is a must.
