The Sales Applications Specialist will be responsible for sales, promotion and technical support to the customers in order to guarantee the right performance of both reagents and instruments, providing our customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs, creating a relationship of trust that will bring value to the Company in the medium and long term.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure the Compliance with Ethical Code.Promote Werfen solutions and advise customers to improve lab organization.Focusing its actions on "Value Selling".Perform demonstrations and build trust in our solutions.Keep clients updated on new techniques, by providing product information andTrain customers and ensure the correct performance of the solutions.Provide troubleshooting for technical enquiries.Solves product incidents at a technical level in coordination with specialists from theBusiness Unit and the manufacturing companies.Installation of equipment, in coordination with the Technical Service.Follow up with the client looking for new opportunities for growth.Control the level of service offered by the different departments of the Company in theassigned accounts.Responsible for a budget and should look for business opportunities.Responsible for the technical solution of the profitability calculationResponsible for the technical interpretation of the tender documents and thepreparation of the technical documents (in collaboration with KAM and the BusinessUnit).Organize special visits with Product Managers.Networking/Key relationshipsTo be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:ManagerProduct ManagerCustomer Service & LogisticsTechnical SupportContracting DepartmentMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Education: Bachelor´s Degree in Life SciencesExperience: Laboratory experience in molecular biology, ivd market, sales and/ormarketingAdditional Skills/Knowledge:Knowledge in life sciences: molecular microbiology, autoimmunityProficient computer skills (MS Office and SAP)Fluency in English is a must, basic oral Spanish is strongly preferred.Skills & Capabilities:The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following core competencies:Team and individual working capacitySelf-organized, identifies and differentiates the issues that must be prioritized, works efficiently with quality results.
