About the Transformation:
STG is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation aimed at optimizing our SAP ecosystem to meet the evolving needs of our organization. This initiative involves leveraging the latest technologies, enhancing system capabilities, and adopting best practices in SAP solutions. The goal is to create a more efficient, agile, and integrated SAP landscape that supports our business objectives and enhances overall performance.
Role summary: As an SAP P2D Supply Chain/Production Functional Expert at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for the implementation and configuration of the SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Production Planning (PP) modules. This includes requirements, setting up master data, organizational structures, and processes for procurement, manufacturing, planning, and logistics. You'd be customizing SCM/PP integrations with other SAP modules, developing custom reports, interfaces, and enhancementm as well as performing testing, troubleshooting, and support.
Location: Lisbon or Madrid Working hours: Full-time Contract type: Direct employment What can you expect as an SAP P2D Supply Chain/Production Functional Expert at Scandinavian Tobacco Group? Your primary tasks will be: Configure and customize SAP modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, SD) to meet business needs and improve system performance.
Oversee the entire Procure-to-Demand process, ensuring seamless integration from procurement to production to demand fulfillment.
Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
Manage inventory levels to ensure material availability for production while minimizing costs.
Use SAP tools to monitor supply chain and production performance, generating reports for decision-making.
Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
Work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and best practice / standard solution
Optimize and standardize already existing processes to adhere to architectural guidelines
Integrate with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP EWM) and third-party systems.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply chain and production management with extensive experience in SAP modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, SD).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP systems for supply chain and production processes.
Process Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, and a proven track record of implementing process improvements.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to train and support end-users and develop clear documentation and training materials.
Proficiency in English is required.
