Development Seed is uniquely set up with a distributed team of remote staff and satellite offices around the world. The Operations Administrator will help Development Seed successfully execute our daily operations and ensure the team is equipped to deliver well for our partners. The Operations Administrator is a process-driven, solutions-oriented role responsible for maintaining and supporting a productive, efficient, and happy working team. This role promotes our company culture, oversees administrative processes, and provides general administration, office, recruiting, and event support. 
This role is based out of our Lisbon, Portugal office. We offer schedule flexibility and remote work experience but will give preference to candidates who are interested in a hybrid position and able to work from our Lisbon office regularly. 
We are open to exploring full-time and part-time contractoptions, between 30 and 40 hours per week. We can work with you to adjust working hours to fit your preference.

With office management including familiarity with basic financial operations such as receivables, payables, and spreadsheet skillsWorking with G-Suit tools Arranging travel and accommodationExperience having effective written and verbal communication with diverse audiences and stakeholders (i.e., suppliers, recruitment candidates, clients, internal team members, etc.) Working in small, fast-moving, and distributed remote teamsCoordinating collaboration and scheduling across multiple time zones with Google services We are looking for a team member to perform: Administrative support and logistics– these set of responsibilities can change depending on workload fluctuations and the organization's needs, some main areas of focus are: supporting our Hiring Coordinator with recruitment scheduling, job posting, and maintaining close and positive communication with prospective candidates. Support onboarding and offboarding admin and operations tasksWorking closely with our Communications Lead to support, and manage conferences and events travel logistics for team members. Financial support – you will provide financial support for the Lisbon General Manager and subsidiary including assembling documentation, occasional bill payments, billing clients, and monitoring revenue and receivables, coordinating and working closely with our accountant provider and the U.S. finance function. You will also, be responsible for tracking and managing the org-wide budget for team traveling expenses. Operations support - you will provide office administration and management support for the Lisbon office with occasional support for the U.S. operations including support for the planning of org meetings and events.
