QualificationsWhat Experience You Need 5+ years of experience in Multinational in dynamic sector (mandatory)5+ years of experience in Logistic & Transport activity (preferable)5+ years of business development management strategy (forecast, budget, etc) (mandatory)Critical and curiosity mindset Higher education background (preferable)Fluency in English (mandatory)Team workingProactive and dynamicPositive attitudeNegotiation and results negotiationResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do Pursuing revenue opportunities with new and existing customersBuilding and managing strong commercial relationships between Americold and its customersActing as a senior business contact for customer relationship development and management.Establishing agreed customer processesControlling and improving business performance, service delivery, financial management, cost and qualityEnsuring agreed customer requirements are understood and communicated to relevant colleagues, building robust SLA's to provide clear expectationsMaintaining awareness of Logistics and Transport industry and food sector developments . channeling key trends into the business. Demonstrating strong industry awareness to customersInitiating pricing and rate reviews that are in the best interest of the companyChallenging practices and business performance that threatens profitability and customer serviceHandling company tender responses and new business opportunitiesAnalyzing and interpreting key business information to make informed decisions and to challenge performance areaFull Knowledge of customer charges and commercial agreement. Working closely with our finance team to audit regulary to ensure all work is charged for and accurately processed. Where necessary, take action to protect the businessProtecting the business regarding customer claims. Assessing liabilities and challenging claims where appropriate and addressing internal causes with appropriate managersEnsuring full process adherence, whilst identifying and involving others in continuous improvement initiatives.Develop plans for commercial development including a strategy to achieve an agreed targetUse a commercial system to provide periodical feedback of gains and loss businesses Interact and support other departments with commercial issuesPoint of contact of clients, creating a strong relationshipMonitories the revenues of each customer in order to anticipate any volume decreaseInteract with Commercial Finance Department to propose and agree the rates regarding new business
