OPERATIONS We're passionate about operational excellence, acting with our customers and partners always in our heart. Covering the entire order journey, we create our online content, secure payments and fraud process compliance, ensure order fulfilment and delivery, while providing customer and partner care. In a nutshell, we love to create seamless and memorable luxury experiences for our customers all around the world.
PORTO Our Porto office is located in Portugal's vibrant second city, known for its history and its creative yet cosy environment. You can have an informal meeting in the treehouse or play the piano during your lunch break
THE ROLE Reporting to the Fraud & Risk Investigations Manager, you will be pivotal in executing and refining our fraud prevention activities. Utilizing advanced tools and comprehensive data analysis, you will optimize fraud detection methods, enhance overall performance, and achieve key KPIs across all regions and business units.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Build and maintain fraud reports and dashboards in BigQuery and Looker to enable real-time fraud analysis.Proactively identify and resolve fraud issues, ensuring we're balancing fraud prevention with customer experience.Daily monitoring and reporting of fraud KPIs.Produce ad hoc reports to evidence live issues and trends and develop solutions to prevent and mitigate risk.Design, test and implement rules & logic to prevent fraud and reduce false positives.Apply advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets to minimise fraud chargebacks whilst balancing customer friction.Work independently on fraud analytics and the analysis of large datasets to ensure appropriate feedback is given to the internal and external ML models.Communicate and escalate fraud trends in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.WHO YOU ARE 3 + years experience working in a fast-paced e commerce fraud environmentProficiency in SQL (SQL Server, BigQuery, or similar)Experience using data visualisation tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)Ability to transform data analysis into defined actions and improvementKnowledge of fraud systems and controls e.g Forter, Riskified, AccertifyAbility to work autonomously in solving complex technical problemsDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and qualityExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAdvanced in English, both written and oral.REWARDS & BENEFITS Health insurance for the whole family, flexible working environment and well-being support and toolsExtra days off, sabbatical program and days for you to give back for the communityTraining opportunities and free access to UdemyFlexible benefits programEQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT FARFETCH is an equal opportunities employer ensuring that all applicants are treated equally and fairly throughout our recruitment process.
