We are looking for a Streaming Market Analyst to join our office in Neuilly-Sur Seine or in Lisbon.
The Market Analyst at Bedrock plays a key role in shaping our understanding of the tech and streaming industries.
By leveraging their expertise, they deliver in-depth analyses of the streaming market, evaluate emerging consumer technologies, identify trends and provide actionable insights to allow client's products & strategies to align with market needs.
As part of the Strategic Research team, the Market Analyst collaborates directly with Business, Product and Tech teams to foster a shared vision of the market and regularly delivers trends reports and analyses to our stakeholders.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As a Market Analyst, you will: Monitor consumer trends in tech and streaming industries worldwide and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations in advertising-based (AVOD), subscription-based (SVOD) & hybrid ecosystems Identify best-practices from streaming services (global streaming leaders, local TV players or telcos/MVPDs), analyze Bedrock's competition (D2C & B2B) and provide market-based recommendations on innovation, business, experiences, & features (ex: onboarding, video features, adtech, distribution strategy, commercial bundles, advertising strategy, etc.)
Deliver in-depth tech analysis of emerging and innovative topics like new ecosystems (e.g.
Metaverse), advertising (e.g.
contextual advertising) or video streaming (e.g.
UHD) Report on tech keynotes (WWDC, Google IO, etc.
), present insights that will deliver quick-win opportunities to Business/Product/Tech teams and feed our long-term roadmap Present market & trends analysis to Bedrock teams & clients to foster a common understanding of trends and innovations, and analyze our client's feedbacks to constantly improve our understanding of their business needs Collaborate with Product and Tech teams on upcoming features and improvements, provide in-depth market studies on various topics, hold and participate in monthly meetings with the main product lines to present said studies and exchange on their needs and upcoming developments You will take part in supporting and monitoring the 2 trainees alongside with the manager in their day to day work" WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Skills Strong expertise & passion in the TV / Streaming industry (business distribution, business models, regulation, etc.)
You are comfortable with streaming technologies (devices, ecosystems) and are a user of video services (AVOD, SVOD, TV bundles, etc.)
Outstanding quantitative, research and analytical skills Great ability to work on multiple subjects with various deadlines and to prioritize accordingly Excellent interpersonal communication and verbal presentation skills Proactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives in a fun and demanding environment Experience / Education & Language Skills 4 to 8 years of experience in at least one of the following roles: Business / Marketing Analyst, Market Research, Development Analyst, Competitive Intelligence Analyst or Insights Manager at a streaming or digital D2C pure-player, international media or tech company or major consulting firm.
Master's degree from a leading Business School, Engineering School, or University.
