We are now looking for a highly motivated Research, Risk and ESG Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Risk, the successful candidate will be responsible for autonomously managing internal processes related to risk, compliance and ESG initiatives. This role will involve daily collaboration with the Head of Risk, investment team, portfolio companies and external stakeholders to establish and maintain strong national and international contacts and networks. The Research, Risk and ESG Manager will also be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on the regularization of processes, both internally and externally.

It is also the objective of Research, Risk and ESG Manager the preparation of documentation, ensuring the reliability of the results presented by the internal teams as well as by the affiliated companies. Additionally, the Manager will support the preparation of regular analyses and reports on the performance of affiliated companies, under the guidance of the Head of Research, Risk and ESG.

What do we expect from you?

• Support the Head of Risk in implementing research, risk management and ESG strategies, working collaboratively with various internal teams;

• Assist in evaluating business activities (e.g. investments) to identify compliance risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements;

• Contribute to developing and promoting ESG, compliance and risk management best practices internally and within portfolio companies;

• Conduct detailed analysis of management information from portfolio companies to support the Head of Risk in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reported results;

• Prepare the reports to be submitted to the CMVM (Portuguese Securities Market Commission), ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines;

What makes you a good candidate for this role?

• Knowledge of Business Management. Legal knowledge and experience is a plus

• At least 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Venture Capital, M&A or Corporate Development

• Knowledge of ESG and Compliance

• Mastery of English language

• Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
