Markem-Imaje delivers fully integrated solutions that enable product quality and safety, regulatory and retailer compliance, better product recalls and improved manufacturing processes. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and developing industrial accounts in North of Portugal, including the acquisition of new business, in order to deliver relevant solutions and achieve sales targets. Core to the role will be establishing and developing strong relationships, leading meetings and negotiations and defined revenue targets per individual customer and the full account portfolio. You'll have an opportunity to be part of a successful team working in a highly innovative industrial environment. You should possess experience in sales development within an industrial environment and expertise in consultative sales techniques. What you'll do: Responsible for account development, management and acquisition of customers within a defined territory (North Portugal) to maximize account revenue and achieve sales targets. Establish professional relationships with existing customers and prospect accounts, lead meetings and negotiations to pursue business opportunities and to protect the Company's business interests. Create a clear business plan for your territory with smart goals. Implement company procedures, business rules and tools. Data Capture - Ensure usage of Sales Force is in line with group guidelines and that we are maintaining records such as close dates, install base, call reports etc. as part of your everyday tasks. Use Sales Force to track area performance. Ensure that you maintain accurate and current data within SFDC to allow automatic forecasting, business planning, customer targeting etc. What you need to have: Bachelor Degree in a related field. Proven track record as an Account Manager within an industrial B2B company. Knowledge of consultative sales techniques and value selling. Experience in managing sales in the assigned territory. Experience in a CRM System reporting. Ability to work remotely whilst maintaining own initiative and fluent and efficient communication with the line manager and the team. Availability to travel on a regular basis. Fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English
