Role Overview
The Global Consumer Products and Processing Team is searching for a visionary Design Director to partner with the Consumer Core products and Processing management team to deliver best-in-class products that generate value for both customers and end users, driving tangible business results.
Role Responsibilities:
Customer Experience Champion: Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, unified, and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
Design Strategy Leadership: Prioritize design initiatives, address roadblocks, and provide clear direction as the central design voice during planning.
Fostering Collaboration & Innovation: Drive teamwork by hosting design workshops and reviews, involving partners, and creating collaborative opportunities to cultivate innovation.
Project Management Expertise: Manage complex design projects, overseeing scope, resource allocation, and timelines to deliver high-quality results that meet established goals.
Design Language Guardian: Establish and enforce design standards, ensuring visual design and user experience (UX) decisions align with these standards for a cohesive brand experience.
Design System Champion: Maintain and guard in the implementation of Made design system across all programs and products.
Sales and Narrative: Provide design materials to win new business and create narratives for pitch teams.
Quality Assurance: Review and approve design deliverables to maintain consistently high-quality standards.

You are a skilled champion of human-centred design. With a keen eye, you craft interfaces that are both intuitive and visually engaging, always prioritizing the needs and preferences of the end user. You excel at collaboration, working seamlessly across teams to transform complex ideas into innovative and user-friendly solutions. As the bridge between different disciplines, you ensure all pieces come together to create cohesive and desirable products.
You're a Design Leader: You have a proven track record of leading product design initiatives, from understanding customer problems and validating solutions to crafting exceptional user experiences.
Strategic Visionary: You excel at translating strategic direction into actionable plans, effectively mobilizing resources to achieve desired outcomes.
Product Savvy: You possess a deep understanding of user experience, business objectives, and the technologies involved in creating well-rounded products.
Industry Awareness: You stay informed about design best practices across multiple industries, continuously seeking inspiration and innovation.
Design Thinking: You actively advocate for and utilize Design Thinking methodology, boasting a successful track record of bringing products to market using this approach.
Human-Centred Approach: You champion an inclusive, people-centric, and data-driven design philosophy, valuing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Critical Thinker & Problem Solver: You possess a sharp mind that questions the status quo, constantly seeking ways to improve and optimize solutions.
Quality Driven: You have a proven history of delivering high-quality work that consistently meets or exceeds established standards.
