As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during your shift. You will oversee various departments, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed diligently. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.Ensure that all departments are adequately staffed and that staff members are properly trained to perform their duties.Monitor hotel facilities to ensure they are well-maintained and address any issues promptly. Guest Relations: Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and handle any inquiries or complaints in a professional and timely manner.Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues effectively.Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their experience. Staff Supervision: Provide leadership and guidance to hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeepers, and food and beverage servers.Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate policies, procedures, and updates.Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and training as needed.Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and monitor expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.Maximize revenue opportunities through effective room inventory management, upselling techniques, and promotion of hotel services.Ensure compliance with financial procedures and policies, including cash handling and billing processes. Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact in case of emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.Implement emergency procedures and coordinate with appropriate authorities as needed.Maintain a calm and professional demeanor to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of hotel operations.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.If you are a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for hospitality, we invite you to join our team as a Hotel Duty Manager and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.
