About the role We're hiring a Director of Product Design to help shape the future of Dashlane. You will oversee design for the Growth domain and manage your team's career development while upholding Dashlane's high bar for quality. You and your team will design modular, end-to-end onboarding and growth experiences, driving our core product's design and empowering small- and medium-sized businesses.
Location: You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day for collaboration in the office and a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding, and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).
Design at Dashlane Our Design team is a close-knit, collaborative group that brings together creative individuals with a variety of backgrounds, roles, and responsibilities. We believe in excellence and strive for innovation. Combining research, data, and thoughtful critique, we discover needs and solve fundamental problems that impact our customers to create Dashlane's market-defining products.
Responsibilities: Report directly to the Head of UX, partnering with cross-functional peers to inform the roadmap and drive increased cohesion.Lead a team, providing guidance on their output and facilitating cross-functional partnerships and the design process.Promote outstanding design practice and influence product strategy to ensure product execution.Provide mentorship and champion the craft and career development of your team.Requirements: 5+ years experience in Design managementWhat the ideal candidate will have but is not visible on a resume: Experience with SaaS B2B Product-led growth (PLG) or onboarding experience, new user experience optimizationExperience managing product designers and the ability to build, mentor and motivate teamsA diverse portfolio of work personally shipped and shipped, along with examples of work directed and delivered by your teamExperience synthesizing company-level goals to help teams across multiple products to create remarkable design experiencesInfluence the overarching strategy for Growth and Activation in collaboration with engineering and product management leadershipParticipate in design discipline-wide conversations and create deliverables on how to improve process, operations and tools.Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Dashlane: As a truly international company—founded in France and distributed across France, US, and Portugal—Dashlane thrives off diverse perspectives.
