Mindelo-Groupis looking for an intelligent customer oriented COO who likes to work in a smaller, rapidly growing and ambitious environment with an entrepreneurial culture. Your key responsibilities Partnering with the Executive Team on all operational and strategic issues as they arise; providing strategic recommendations to the team in terms of organizational vision, and operational strategies; Sponsoring, evaluating and implementing various projects across the business to increase the operational efficiency and the sustainability of the organization; Ensuring the highest standards in terms of Quality and Sustainability are met and/or maintained; Managing a team of 30+ people involved in modelling, planning, cutting, dress making; quality management deliveries and logistics; Ensuring the further development of the team and the organization that will ensure best quality, at optimal cost, with no compromise on sustainability ; Managing a network of external suppliers to which part of the production is being outsourced; Being accountable for the timely delivery of endproducts produced both internally and by external suppliers; Ensuring close collaboration with Finance and Sales to secure business profitability and customer satisfaction; Manage reports & budgets.
