Maintenance stipend: 1259,64 euros, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants, paid via bank transfer.
Objectives:
Development of software platforms and applications (Backend and Frontend) and Machine Learning (ML).
Work Programme and Training:
Implementation and testing of systems for data ingestion and processing. Preparation of data and ML models using Deep Learning (DL) techniques. Training, evaluation, and debugging of ML models. Dissemination of results.
Required Profile:
Admission requirements:
Master's degree in computer engineering or related field.
The awarding of the fellowship is dependent on the applicants' enrolment in relevant courses.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in software development using Python.
- Experience in developing machine learning systems in Python (Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Experience in training and evaluating DL models for object identification (YOLO v7).
- Experience in writing and presenting scientific articles.
Evaluation of Applications and Selection Process:
Selection criteria include Academic Evaluation (AC) and Individual Interview (EI). Candidates must score at least 50 points in AC to qualify for the interview.
